Prashan De Visser

President and Founder, Sri Lanka Unites

Prashan De Visser

Prashan De Visser is the founder of 'Sri Lanka Unites', an organisation which has grown to become the largest youth movement for peace in Sri Lanka, with over 30,000 members. The organisation aims to create sustainable relationships across ethnic and religious lines through language learning, integration and social projects.

He is also president of 'Global Unites', which he founded with some associates in 2015. Mr. De Visser and his associates developed the organisation (Global Unites) to inspire, connect and equip youth globally to transform their societies by promoting non-violence and reconciliation. There are now 13 chapters of 'Global Unites' across the world in countries that include The Democratic Republic of Congo, Colombia and Myanmar.

His endeavours in promoting peace across Sri Lanka along with his work in engaging the youth saw him honoured by Her Majesty, the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2018.

De Visser is currently vying for presidency in the Sri Lankan elections 2024, the first held after 2022 when Sri Lanka was roiled by a severe economic crisis.

The Fearless Summit is hosted and convened by Mavuno Church, a non-denominational church whose headquarters is in Nairobi, Kenya. Their mission is turning ordinary people into fearless influencers of society.
