David Kuria

David Kuria is a communications strategist and consultant who is passionate about the church and its ability to tell its story. He is also the founder of A THOUSAND WATTS, a boutique communications agency that provides bespoke marketing and communications solutions to brands and organisations. He has worked with a cross-section of organisations, including many faith-based institutions, helping them focus their communications and run successful marketing campaigns.

Pastor Kuria serves as the Head of Communications for Mavuno Church, a movement of churches that has its headquarters in Nairobi, and houses over 30 churches across 9 nations in Africa and Europe. As of 2022, he and his wife Joanne Kuria, lead the Mavuno Lavington campus located in Nairobi.

He is also the CEO of the Fearless Summit - a unique annual gathering of church and marketplace leaders who are passionate about bringing much needed Godly change in every sector of society. Through the years the summit has attracted key leaders and delegates from every continent of the world.

He is happily married and resides in Nairobi with his wife and two children.
