Jaki Mbogo

Jaki Mbogo is the Chief of Party for the UKAID Peace and Security program - REINVENT. The program works to support the government and people of Kenya to design and implement solutions to address all forms of violence.

She has built a career around the promotion of safer, peaceful and cohesive communities particularly focused on gender justice, crime and violence prevention, Peace building and police reform. She is a governing council member of the National Crime Research Centre and as the Co- Chair of the Kenya National Taskforce on Women Peace and Security. She is currently pursuing a PHD in African Women Studies at the University of Nairobi.

Jaki is a born-again Christian. Passionate and committed to furthering the Kingdom agenda at the marketplace. She is zealous about stirring the church to take up its place in the affairs of society. Nothing gives her more pleasure than a rich conversation on God, family, and life. She is married and a mother of four.
