Daniel "Churchill" Ndambuki is an award-winning actor, comedian, MC, thespian, and radio presenter.
Having worked in Kenya’s comedy industry since 1996, he is not only one of the most sought after comedians in the game, he is also considered the father of comedy in Kenya, and has given platform to numerous creatives across the country.
Churchill, as he is more affectionately known, is a mentor and pioneer in the creative industry, and has managed to grow the genre in East Africa by scouting and nurturing talent. Now a household name in Kenya, and ranked among the 100 most influential people in the country, he has been running the Live Comedy Show, now titled the Churchill Show, since 2008, leading it to becoming one of Kenya’s most popular television shows across all genres.
Through his various television shows, he is renown for opening doors for some of the most successful comedians in Kenya, including Eric Omondi, Teacher Wanjiku, Professor Hammo, MCA Tricky, Jemutai, Magazine (DJ Shitii), Dr. Kingori and countless others. He also propelled the first and final national comic star show, 'The Top Comic.'
Churchill, who became the first Kenyan to hit 1,000,000 likes on Facebook, loves to see individuals succeed particularly in the comic drama industry and that is the motivation behind why he made the "Giggle Industry."
