A University of Colorado alum, the 6’5” LV has lived all over the world, and played professional volleyball in Slovenia. He spent the last 4 years traveling extensively throughout the United States serving as the national ambassador for Catalyst, a movement of next generation leaders in the church.  In June of 2011 LV transitioned from Catalyst to join the staff team at Mariners Church as Pastor of Care and Recovery.</p>

He has extensive ministry experoience after serving at churches such as Deliverance Church in both Nakuru, Lang&#8217;ata and eventually Ongata Rongai. He later joined the Nairobi Chapel team in 2005 as Youth Pastor in the Waiyaki Way Church plant. He currently serves as the senior pastor of Kileleshwa Covenant Community Church (K3C), and loves reading, sports and driving long distances. He is married to Ruth Wacuka, who also serves on the K3C staff team, and together they have five-year old son Nathan Kamau.</p>

He initially served as the Pastor for Greenhouse (Kid&#8217;s church), overseeing a period of tremendous growth in the children&#8217;s ministry, and later transitioned to be the pastor for small groups and community penetration. He is extremely passionate about prayer, and has been a facilitator for various prayer cirriculums. He is also passionate about discipleship. He is currently preparing to set off later in 2011 to be the lead pastor for Mavuno&#8217;s upcoming church plant in Lusaka, Zambia. Antony is married to Miriam Kigwi and together they have a beautiful baby boy, Lemayian Kigwi.</p>

She served with Teachers Service Commission and Accelerated Christian Education program for two years before leaving to join her husband, Pastor Simon Mbevi in church planting and prayer training and mobilization. She was part of the pioneer team that planted Mavuno Church. She currently heads the Family Ministries department at Mavuno under which the programs NDOA (marriage counselling) &#038; LEA (parenting) run. Simon and Sophie have been married fourteen years with three children: Covenant, Promise &#038; Beracah.</p>

Currently she serves as the Research Assistant for the senior Pastor at Mavuno. Maggie has been involved in numerous mission trips both locally and internationally. She is passionate about enabling the African church to rise and take its place in local and global mission. </p>
