    Ruth Mageria

    Ruth is a graduate of Daystar University (B.A, Education and Bible) and Towson University (Med Early Childhood Education), and has also taken several short courses at Indiana University’s Fundraising School, and is a member of the Kenya Association of Fundraising Professionals. During the last 12 years, Ruth worked for a Faith Based NGO, with offices in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was involved in proposal writing and monitored and evaluated organization programs, ensuring compliance to the different funding guidelines. She has done advocacy work, both on a national level in Washington DC, and in Tallahassee, Florida’s state capital, in the areas of food security and child nutrition. She is currently serving as the Director of Fundraising at Nairobi Chapel, working in the Social Justice Ministry. Ruth is passionate about using her gifts, talents and expertise to help churches and other organizations, mobilize and raise resources to fund their vision. She is married to Phillip, and together they have a 9 year old son, James.
