Simon Mbevi is a lawyer and has been a pastor at Mavuno Church since its inception in 2005. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Transform Kenya, an organization that runs the “Lead To Serve” initiative committed to contributing to Kenya’s future through the development and nurturing of future political leaders. Besides his LLB (University of Nairobi), he also holds MA – Leadership (Pan Africa Christian University). He has traveled widely teaching on prayer, leadership and leading peace and prayer initiatives in troubled nations. Simon is married to Sophia Mwende. They have two daughters; Covenant Mutheu and Beracah Mumo and a son; Promise Muuo.
