Kyama has a BCom degree from the University of South Africa UNISA, a Business Administration degree from USIU and a Masters in Biblical Studies from the Nairobi Evangelical School of Theology. He was the founding pastor of Mavuno Downtown (MDT) which later became a campus of Mavuno Church. He currently serves at Mavuno as the Executive Pastor in charge of Expansion, overseeing church planting efforts locally as well as in Kampala, Lusaka, Dar-es-laam and Berlin. He is husband to Wambui Kyama, and they have three lovely daughters.
